Hi Everyone!
My name is Christine and I am a teacher candidate in British Columba. I am interested in nature based learning. For my inquiry blog, I will be posting about horticulture in and out of the classroom. I believe that the study of plants at a personal level, connects us to our food and to the world in an important way. I hope that my posts will be informative and inspiring for anyone interested in school garden projects as well as personal garden projects. Some of the topics I will get into include, how knowledge of plants encourages food security, what a teacher needs to know before starting a school garden, what resources are available for teaching horticulture and much more.
